In the girls' game, both teams went back and forth. Frankenmuth outscored Freeland 21-8 in the second quarter and were up 30-22. Claire Conzelmann totaled 11 in the first half.

The Falcons were +4 in the third quarter, behind juniors Addie Seemann and Karie Keefer. Seemann scored 18, and Keefer racked up 19.

Eagles senior guard Mia McLaughlin made multiple critical shots in the fourth quarter. The Ferris State commit led the flock with 22 and made a layup to make it a two-possession game with one minute left.

After a turnover, Frankenmuth took over, McLaughlin was fouled with 25.3 seconds, and she converted both free throws to put the game away.

The boys' game was a tale of two halves. Poor shooting from the outside kept things close in the first two quarters. Frankenmuth senior Carson Knoll knocked down five shots, compiling half of the team's 24 points. Freeland stayed in stride, working well inside the paint. Sophomore Tristan Comer, came through with 11.

The rest of the way, the Falcons flew by the Eagles posting a 30-12 advantage. The combo of Comer and Senior Daniel Duley drained the Frankenmuth front court. Duley delivered four two-hand slams. He finished as the leading scorer with 18.

Freeland is now 12-1 overall and 7-0 in league play.
