Saginaw, Mich. - The Arthur Hill Lumberjacks (14-4) stole the show on a night spotlighting Saginaw's greatest sports rivalry. In the final regular season matchup, Arthur Hill held court at the Dow Event Center, beating Saginaw High (13-7) 84-52.
On a roster with seven seniors, sophomore Di'onquavis "Boop" Hardy set the tone for Arthur Hill. He had multiple assists in the first quarter and crashed the glass throughout the first half. Hardy had 13 of his 15 points in the second half.
The Lumberjacks built a 22-9 advantage through the first eight minutes. Senior Lyna Brooks Jr. hit back-to-back three-pointers that grew the lead from nine to 15 in the final minute of the first. Brooks Jr. accumulated 10 in the first half.
At halftime, both teams had 33 percent of their total points converted at the free-throw line. Arthur Hill was 11-for-14, Saginaw High 8-for-14 in what was a 34-24 Lumberjacks lead at the break.
Senior Dequavion Terry went 4-for-4 at the line and totaled 10 points on the evening. Trojans junior Deon Anderson led his team with five in the first half, shooting 3-for-5 at the foul line.
The third quarter was the most in a quarter for Arthur Hill with 27, creating a 61-37 lead. The final big blow was delivered in the fourth quarter, a putback dunk by junior Tyler Dorsey to put the Lumberjacks over 70.

Pregame and at halftime, all-time athletes and teams from both schools were honored. Both Arthur Hill and Saginaw High will be Saginaw United in all sports starting next season.
Rounding Things Out
For Arthur Hill, Lyna Brooks Jr. led things with 16 points. Di'onquavis Hardy had 15 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Tyler Dorsey and Dequavion Terry each posted 10.
Saginaw High senior Fransco "Diggy" Lee Jr. chalked up 15, 11 in the second half. Senior Brandon McCune provided eight points.

Both teams have two games remaining on their schedule. The Lumberjacks on Tuesday, February 20th, face Bay City Central on the road, tip off at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, February 21st, the Trojans head to Grand Blanc, a make-up game originally slated for January 12th. Game time is at 7 p.m.
